REVERSE LIGHT

Reverse lights have 2 functions:

• To indicate that a vehicle is reversing.
• To illuminate the rear of a vehicle to see what one is doing when reversing.

A car is equipped with one or two reverse light(s). If there is only one reverse light, it is positioned on the right side of the vehicle. The reverse light always emits white light.

The reverse light bulb is commonly 21W. The most common bulb is the P21W. It is possible to increase the wattage for more visibility. Always check your fuses if you increase the bulb's wattage.
