h3 bulb 12v 55w
The standard model is 55W, but it also exists in higher wattages; the H3 100W bulb, the H3 130W bulb, and the H3 100W bulb with a white light. These bulbs are intended for closed circuit use. The H3 55W bulb is the only one authorized for headlights on cars, motorcycles, and other two-wheelers. Bosma H3 lamps are approved under European standard R37.
h3 car bulb
For your car's headlights, you have a choice of different models: the standard H3 bulb, H3 bulbs with white light, H3s with yellow light for a retro look, and H3 Long-Life / High-Performance bulbs.
At Pharos Boutique, we recommend our LLHD range. These are long-life bulbs with high resistance to shock and vibration. These lamps are very suitable for daytime running lights.
h3 yellow bulb
The yellow or 'Gold' H3 model is recommended for maintaining the vintage appearance of your vehicle. It is also interesting for drivers who prefer a retro look for their vehicle when driving at night. Some drivers simply prefer these yellow H3 bulbs because they believe visibility is better with yellow light.
h3 100w 12v bulb
This is a so-called 'Rally' lamp. These bulbs are not permitted in traffic because they can dazzle oncoming drivers. We recommend installing a ceramic socket with thick wires to prevent these elements from overheating. H3 rally lamps also exist in 100W 'extreme white' (white light / Xenon effect) and 130W.
h3 philips bulb
The H3 model with reference 12336 is compatible with the Bosma H3 model: the 501205. Both lamps meet automotive industry requirements and have the R37 homologation certificate. Both models offer good quality thanks to their robust tungsten filament, as well as strength in the bulb's glass and metal base. Both are suitable for all 12V H3 headlights.
h3 fog light bulb
The fog lights of some vehicles are equipped with H3 headlights. This 55W lamp increases visibility in rainy, snowy, and foggy weather. Be careful not to dazzle oncoming drivers and switch back to low beams in normal conditions.
h3 130w bulb
This is a high-power 'rally' bulb. Only use this lamp in closed circuits. It will be too dazzling in traffic, and you risk a fine if the police or gendarmes notice high-power bulbs on your vehicle. The standard is 55W. We have two other rally models: the standard 100W and the 100W 'extreme white' which gives a Xenon effect to your headlights.
h3 halogen bulb
The H3 is a single-filament halogen bulb. The halogen gas allows the tungsten filament to reach higher temperatures and illuminate more than a conventional incandescent bulb. Their color temperature, expressed in Kelvin, is 3000K. A classic incandescent bulb has a luminous flux around 2500K, a xenon bulb between 4300K and 6000K, and an LED car bulb 6000K. The luminous flux expressed in lumens is 1400lm for a 55W H3 bulb. A Xenon bulb has a luminous flux of 3000 lm and an LED bulb 4000 lm.
h3 white bulb
We have two H3 models with white light. These are 'Extreme white' bulbs. They are available in 55W and 100W 'Rally'. These bulbs give a Xenon effect to your headlights thanks to their bluish-white light.
h3 motorcycle bulb
Some motorcycles are equipped with H3 12V headlights. This is the same reference as for cars. It's a single-filament bulb with a PK22s base, 55W. We recommend our LLHD range to our biker customers. These are long-life bulbs with high resistance to shock and vibration.
powerful h3 bulb
For increased visibility, there are so-called 'Rally' bulbs. They significantly increase visibility. These are H3 bulbs in 100W or 130W. Check your sockets and wires for the installation of this type of bulb. There is a high risk of the socket melting or the first 20 centimeters of wires coming out of the socket. This is due to the power which can cause these elements to overheat. We recommend our H3 adapters to avoid this.
h3 bulb adapter
Pharos Boutique offers ceramic sockets with thick wires. For all wattages from 100W, we advise you to change your H3 connector. This way, you avoid all risks related to the overheating of connectors and wires.
h3 car bulb
On this page, we present our range of H3 bulbs for car headlights.
The choice of model depends on the decisive factor for you:
- Durability: long-life bulbs with reinforced base and filaments.
- Modern white light, standard halogen light, or yellow light for a retro look.
- Power: with our rally bulbs.
- Economy: with our standard H3 reference, the best value for money.
