This bulb was very common for a long time in the automotive sector, spanning a period of 20 to 30 years, from the 1960s to the 1990s. It is very commonly referred to as the 'European code bulb'.

R2 yellow bulb 12v

Originally it was yellow in France. Yellow light was mandatory until the early 90s. A very common bulb in France throughout the era of yellow lighting for vehicles: cars, trucks, buses and two-wheelers.

R2 yellow bulb 24v

It is also available in 24V for cars equipped with a 24V electrical system.

R2 yellow Osram bulb

Bosma's reference 5012018 is a yellow bulb that can replace Osram's R2. These are the same bulbs with a p45t base, also called European code.

R2 yellow Philips bulb

Philips' R2 yellow bulbs can be replaced by Bosma's European code bulbs with reference 5012018 for 12V or 5006018 for 6V.
