Collection: Male cylindrical contacts

Cylindrical male terminals (or "bullet connectors"), together with their female version, form a disconnectable axial connection ideal for confined spaces. Standard diameters: 2.8mm, 4mm, 6mm.

Very common in original wiring harnesses for auxiliary lights, cable junctions, and RV installations. Order in pairs with a female of the same diameter.

Male Bullet Connectors: Robust Axial Connection

Male bullet connectors have a cylindrical pin that fits axially into the corresponding female socket. This orientation is ideal in confined spaces where lateral access is not possible—the connection is made in line with the cable. Detachable without tools, it is highly resistant to vibrations and offers a low profile (small radial footprint).

Choosing the Right Diameter—Male and Female Must Match

Bullet connectors come in three standard diameters: 2.8mm, 4mm, and 6mm. A 4mm male pin will only fit into a 4mm female socket—always check that the diameter is identical between the two parts ordered. The diameter also determines the current rating: a 6mm can handle more amps than a 2.8mm. For 5A lighting, 4mm is suitable; for a winch or spotlight > 20A, 6mm is necessary.

Use in Automotive Wiring Harnesses

Cylindrical connectors are widely used in vehicle original wiring harnesses for headlight, relay, and accessory connections. They allow long wiring to be broken down into detachable segments—practical for maintenance without disassembling the entire harness. Particularly useful in RV and marine installations, where harnesses are long and humid conditions require watertight connections.

👉 Remember to also order female bullet connectors or complete pairs.
