It was the first halogen bulb to combine low beam and high beam in one lamp. A dual-filament bulb: one 60-watt filament and one 55-watt filament. It is one of the most common bulbs on the market. It is increasingly being replaced in newer cars by separate projectors. That is, one headlight for low beam and the other for high beam. These vehicles have 2 projectors, each with a single-filament bulb.
